Customers who purchase the Y04(4+256G) on or before 31 May,2026 will receive one free repair within 180 days of activation for accidentally damaged devices on Appearance.

• This offer is only valid on Y04(4+256G) devices ("Product") only.

• The offer is valid until 31 May,2026, both days inclusive (hence the "Offer period").

• Offer shall be valid across the territory of South Africa.

• This offer is only available on the purchase of the products through our official or authorized offline and online stores in South Africa.

• Product purchases are subject to the terms and conditions specified on the vivo South Africa official website.

• vivo South Africa reserves the right to extend or annul the offer period at its sole discretion.

3. Eligibility Criteria

• This offer applies exclusively to new Y04(4+256G) devices ("Product") activated within the offer period as specified by vivo South Africa.

• This offer includes coverage for any accidental, physical, to a product that interferes with normal use, For further information about the warranty, please visit:

• This offer excludes bulk sales to corporates, firms, institutes, or individuals.

• This offer shall be applicable only on new Product(s) purchased, offer is not valid for Demo devices and LDUs

• During the offer period, each unit will receive a one-time free repair for appearance components. 

4. Redemption of Offers

• Consumers who purchased and activated the Product within the offer period are eligible for 360° accidental Protection within 180 days of activation, subject to applicable legislation.

• In the event of any damage as described above, users must submit the device to a vivo South Africa official service center within 48 hours of the incident. A digital repair/receiving sheet must be generated. Otherwise, no claims will be accepted.

• This offer can be availed once ONLY by visiting or mailing the official service center only of vivo South Africa


Exclusions for 360° Accidental Protection

The Plan will not cover:

• Any loss under mysterious circumstances including lost or stolen.

Loss resulting from an intentional act or willful negligence.

• Loss arising after Coverage Period.

• Any loss due to hire or loan of the Covered device to a third party or if ownership is transferred.

• Any damages occurred to the Covered Device prior to the activation.

• Loss arising due to unlawful act including Terrorist activity, War, Nuclear explosion, radioactive contamination, Chemical, Biochemical, Biological, Electromagnetic, Cyber Attack.

• Consequential loss of any type or description, including wear and tear and bend

• Any loss effecting to SIM card and any ancillary products even if equipment results into complete stoppage of working.

• Damage caused by (a) a product/accessory that is not the Covered Equipment, (b) operating the Covered Equipment outside of the permitted or intended uses described by vivo South Africa, (c) service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not an Official Service Provider (ASP) of vivo South Africa, or (d) any failure/damage caused outside of South Africa.

• Covered equipment with a serial number that has been altered, defaced, or erased, or that has been modified to change its functioning or capacity without written permission of vivo South Africa.

• Cosmetic damage to the Covered Equipment including but not limited to scratches.

• Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to normal aging of the product.

• Issues that could be resolved by upgrading latest software version.

• Third-party products or their effects on or interactions with the Covered Equipment or the software.

• Your use of a computer or operating system that is unrelated to consumer software or connectivity issues with the Covered Equipment.

• Damage to, or loss of any software or data residing or recorded on the Covered Equipment.

• Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Plan.

• Any loss or damage to accessories and panels even if forming part of the standard pack or to any complimentary or ancillary product/s made available under any promotional scheme.


5. Verification of the documents

• Before availing the Offer, customers must present a copy of the invoice issued by the Online or Offline Outlet at the time of purchase, as well as the original invoice for verification.

• The user must bring and present a copy of their ID proof (self-attested) to the South African government's official service facility. Customer information on invoice and ID card must match; otherwise, no claims will be addressed by vivo South Africa.

• If any documents/invoices are prima facie determined to be fake and forged, or if the original invoice is lost or torn, the customer will be ineligible for the Offer, and the same would be forfeited, with no claims considered.

6. Forfeiture clause

• If the customer does not claim this offer of 360° Accidental Protection within 180 days of the Product activation date (i.e., within the time frame specified above in the eligibility criteria column);the offers will be forfeited, and no further claims will be entertained by vivo South Africa.

7. Conditions related to Offers

• Offers are subject to part availability and the criteria specified above. vivo South Africa shall not be responsible for its non-availability owing to different reasons such as weather circumstances, labor unrest, insolvency, commercial exigencies, government decisions, operational and technical challenges, or any other force majeure conditions.

.• Offers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for any other product or item, and cannot be cashed under any circumstances.

8. General Conditions

• Customer agrees that vivo South Africa shall not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Offer or with the acceptance of this offer.

• vivo South Africa reserves the right to change/alter & modify the terms & conditions of this Offer or extend or annul any part or whole offer at any given point at its sole discretion without giving any reason whatsoever.

•vivo South Africa reserves the right to substitute the 180 Days 360° Accidental Protection offer and other offers with some other gift(s) of equivalent value under this Offer at its sole discretion without giving any reasons.

• vivo South Africa shall not be liable for any technical or physical delay in transmitting or submitting the customer's entries, or for any disruptions, losses, damages, computer-related malfunctions/failures that affect the customer's participation, or for any force majeure conditions or damages caused by an act of God or government action.

• Customers shall comply with these terms and conditions and waives any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions and release, indemnify and hold harmless vivo South Africa and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and its respective agents, auditors, representatives, officers, directors and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from this OFFER.

• Benefits of this offer shall remain limited to the territory of South Africa.

• Failure by vivo South Africa to enforce any of its right at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

• vivo South Africa shall not be liable for any losses or incidental or consequential damages originating from or in connection with the Offer, its services, or these Terms (whether caused, including negligence). vivo South Africa has no responsibility for any product or service liability.

• In the case of a conflict or discrepancy with any instructions, rules, or conditions on any advertising or promotional items connected to the Offer, these Terms shall take precedence over all such other instructions, rules, and conditions.

10. Jurisdiction

• Decision of the vivo South Africa in relation to the Offer and matter incidental thereto shall be final and binding on the customer. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. These Terms shall be governed by exclusive laws of South Africa and the courts located at Johannesburg shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matter with relation to the Offer.
