SINGAPORE, 15 AUGUST 2019 – vivo, a leading mobile technology company, has announced the launch of its innovative new S1 smartphone across Singapore on August 17. 

Customers can get their hands on the sleek device at just $399 (without contract) through any major operating telco - including M1, Singtel and StarHub - vivo's Lazada flagship store and authorized retailers island-wide. Available in Cosmic Purple and Aqua Blue, the new S1 runs on Android 9 with the latest FunTouch OS on top of its impressive feature list, making it the ideal smartphone for both tech-savvy and fashion-forward consumers. All sets will also come with a 2-year local warranty and a 1 time free screen replacement.

The device is set to turn heads with its stunning appearance, sporting a gradient finish that will appeal to more fashion-conscious consumers. In addition to the sleek finish, the S1 also features a 32MP selfie camera and features built to enhance the mobile gaming experience.

Built with gamers and movie buffs in mind, vivo S1 flaunts a Halo FullView display that creates a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The 6.38-inch Super AMOLED Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio provides a fantastic visual effect, providing an enhanced multimedia experience for all users. 

For mobile gamers, the S1 boasts an Ultra Game Mode and Multi-Turbo Engine. The Ultra Game mode gives users the ability to customize their gaming experience, giving them control on how notifications appear, how system resources are used, and other features to give gamers a smoother and more immersive experience. The Multi-Turbo engine are smart boosters for the software and hardware to specifically built to provide a better gaming experience - including reducing the FPS lag. 

The self-illuminating Super AMOLED display means users can also keep track of time and stay on top of important alerts with the Always On Display. Not only does it consume minimal power, but users can also add character to the phones by personalising the themes based on  individual style and preferences.

Running on a 12nm octa-core processor and clocking a speed of up to 2.0GHz, the smartphone is also equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM to support the fast and smooth performances of multiple apps and mobile games.

Besides the dedicated Smart Button and Jovi Image Recogniser, S1 also features a more intuitive version of Google Assistant, customised for vivo customers.
