vivo Warranty Policy
This warranty policy applies only to the vivo sold in Malaysia.
Warranty Period
Within one years (inclusive) from the date of purchase, if the product malfunctions due to manufacturing defects, consumers are entitled to warranty services.

Warranty Terms
1.To obtain device replacement and warranty repair services, the user must present a valid invoice or purchase proof and the warranty card.
2.Other materials related to the product (e.g., quick start guide and warranty card) are not covered by warranty replacement or repair services.
3.In case of component replacement, the warranty period of the main unit shall be extended for the remainder of the original warranty period. If the remaining warranty period of the main unit is less than 90 days, it shall be calculated as 90 days. The replaced components shall be covered by the remaining warranty period of the main unit or a 90 - day warranty, whichever is longer.
4.Components replaced in out - of - warranty repairs are entitled to a limited warranty period of 90 days.
Warranty Instructions
1. Warranty services only apply to devices being used in normal conditions. If the device is damaged due to reasons other than quality or due to one of the following, you are not entitled to warranty services, but you can pay to have the device repaired.
1.1. Outside the warranty period;
1.2. Content on the valid proof of purchase does not match that on the labels on the device or has been changed;
1.3. Damage caused by your use, maintenance and care of the device not in accordance with the Manual;
1.4. Damage caused by disassembling done by anyone not approved by vivo;
1.5. Damage caused by force majeure; Natural wear (of the cover, buttons, screen and accessories etc.);
1.6. Faults and deficiencies that are not attributable to vivo;
1.7. Device damages caused by using non-original accessories (charger, data cable, etc.) are not covered by the warranty.
2. For the repair of devices that are seriously damaged due to human error, such as water getting in or breakage by dropping, we may require a relevant repair agreement to be signed between you and the service center first.
3. You can replace or repair the device at any of the local service centers in the vivo service network.
4. All parts, components and accessories being replaced during the warranty period belong to vivo.
Preparations
Before you hand over or send a product to vivo for warranty claim check, please back up all personal information, data and apps stored on the product, and then delete all personal data from the product. If necessary, also remove all storage media, SIM cards or accessories that are not included in the scope of delivery. vivo is not liable for damage or loss of data, apps, SIM cards or removable storage media.
If the defect also affects technical accessories (charger, charging cable/data cable, earphones) that you have purchased together with the mobile phone, please also enclose them.
You can help vivo for troubleshooting by including a description of the defect or malfunction.
Ensure to use safe packaging during transport to avoid damage to the product.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, other than the legal rights to which you are entitled under applicable local laws and the above express warranty provided by vivo, vivo grants no other warranties, whether express or implied, in terms of services in this warranty document.
To the extent permitted by law, vivo will not be liable for any unforeseeable loss due to a breach of this warranty. Consumers can only use vivo products for non-commercial purposes. Therefore, vivo will not bear any profit, income, or time loss caused by your use of the device or inability to use the device.
