♦ What is the use of Privacy password
The privacy password can be used to encrypt private photos and videos in phone Albums App, hide and encrypt applications. For models with Funtouch OS 11 below system, the privacy password also used as the password of File safe.
♦ Can the phone manufacturer provide Privacy password to user？
To protect your privacy, your Privacy password is only stored locally on your phone, and cannot be accessed by others, even the phone manufacturer.
♦ What should I do if forgot the Privacy password
Go to iManager -- Utility tools / swipe up on the screen -- App encryption—click Forgot password, then you can reset the password by verifying the security question
♦ If you forget the security question answers:
In order to ensure the security and privacy of your data, if you have forgotten the privacy password and don't remember the security question password, the related data cannot be recovered.
If you want to use this function again, you need to erase all data to clear the password. It will erase all your data so please back up your phone before operation.
The path of clear all data of the phone:
Funtouch OS 11 and above version: Settings--System--Reset options--Erase all data;
Funtouch OS 10.5 and below versions: Settings—More settings/System management-- Backup & Reset Erase all data
* Note: If you have forgotten your privacy password, the data in Privacy Space or File Safe cannot be backed up or restored.
